Cakes for birthdays, weddings and everything in between
Every cake is baked for one order, so you choose the size, the flavour and the look. A first birthday, a kids' party with a character on top, a milestone birthday for a crowd, or a wedding with two or three tiers: send the date and the number of guests and you get a price the same day. Cakes are collected from Hornby or delivered across Christchurch by arrangement.

Please note: I can offer cakes with no added gluten, dairy, egg or nuts, and vegan cakes, but I do not run an allergy-free kitchen. It is a small studio and all my equipment and utensils are used with these allergens every day, so traces are always a possibility. We do our best, but please keep this in mind.

Pick a style, then a size
Sizes are the diameter of a round cake. Two-tier prices combine two sizes, from 5+6 inch up to 8+10 inch. Prices are a starting point; the design sets the final price, so send a photo of what you have in mind.

Cupcakes, cakesicles, cake pops and cookies
Small things to go with the cake, or instead of it. Cupcakes can be part of the cake box and the party box. Cake pops are dipped in chocolate or white chocolate and decorated to match your theme.

Fill in the form and the message writes itself. Send it by WhatsApp or email, whichever you prefer. Nothing goes anywhere until you press send in that app.

Questions about cakes
How far ahead do I need to order a cake?
At least 4 days for every order. For a wedding cake or a large fondant design, get in touch as early as you can so the date is held.
How do we find you?
We are based in Hornby, Christchurch, but because our fully council-registered studio is attached to our home, we do not allow walk-ins at any time. If you have a cake pick-up scheduled or a catering order, we will send you our address.
Can you deliver my cake in Christchurch?
Yes. Pick-up is from Hornby, and delivery across Christchurch is by arrangement, at a price agreed when you order.
What flavours can I choose?
Chocolate, lemon, orange, churros, strawberry, pineapple, red velvet, white chocolate, carrot, banana, latte and vanilla.
What is the difference between fondant 2D and 3D?
A 2D fondant cake has flat cut-out decorations on the surface, such as a logo, a name or a character. A 3D fondant cake has sculpted toppers and shapes that stand up from the cake, which takes longer to make.
How many people does each size feed?
It depends on the cake style and how it is cut. Send the number of guests with your request and Bella will suggest a size, or a party kit if you also want savouries and sweets.
Do you make cakes with allergies in mind?
Write any allergies or dietary needs in the details box and Bella will tell you what is possible before you order.
