Questions about savouries
What is the difference between frozen and fried?
Frozen savouries are pre-cooked and frozen, so you fry or bake them at home just before the party. Fried savouries are cooked and handed over ready to serve.
Can I mix different savouries in one order?
Yes. Choose the fillings you like within a lot of 10, 25, 50 or 100 and note it in the details box.
How many savouries do I need per person?
The party kits allow 10 per person alongside a cake and sweets. For savouries on their own, 12 to 15 per person is a comfortable amount for a party.
Are there vegetarian options?
Yes: cheese balls, cheese bread, and the cheese or vege versions of the rissoles, esfiha and mini pies. Mini pastel also comes in cheese, pizza and sweet fillings.
How much notice do you need?
At least 4 days for every order. Pick-up is from Hornby; delivery across Christchurch is by arrangement.
